The Hub Performance Training aims to take fitness to another level by introducing athlete proven methods to get strong, fast and lean. We have cardio equipment the requires your effort = ultimate energy output feedback. Olympic Weight-lifting services, Jump training options, Powerlifting teams, the Daily W.O.D. and many more ways to challenge your whole body every time you walk through the doors. Our fitness facility is focused on training the body, mind and character of each client to the ULTIMATE level of Fitness through the proven strength of a TEAM around you. Coaches and fellow gym-goers alike.
Lisa grew up watching two successful entrepreneurs at work. Hard at work. Her parents were the owners of the Nanton IGA and learned the value of a job done right the first time. Lisa is an outgoing, proactive resident of High River along with her husband Brett, a High River Fire Fighter and owner of All’s Well Filtration & Pumping Solution and their daughter Hadley.
As the owner and manager of The Hub Performance Training Corp., Lisa holds the following certifications:
- NCCP – Weight-lifting
- Canfitpro – Personal Training Specialist (5 years)
- Active Isolated Stretching Level 1
Lisa is a retired National Team Bobsleigh Pilot (7 years), a SAIT Volleyball and Swimming Alumni and the proverbial “Athlete for Life.” She has been successfully operating a personal training business with group fitness classes since 2012 and retains a solid, enthusiastic following. Until opening The Hub Performance Training gym in High River, she had been turning away potential clients due to space challenges and operated under the name “Sculpt Enterprises”… She is also a trained Graphic Designer.
Sarah spent the bulk of my life covering-up. I was always more comfortable at the sidelines, slouched over under a big sweater or an obscuring scarf. I was never an athlete, or a fitness buff and I never thought much of it, but I was always trying to conceal what I subconsciously felt was an imperfect body.
Then one day there I was – newly married and a babe on the way. I wanted to eat well and keep my body moving for my child. As I began to move and nourish my body I started to feel good. Like, really good.
Never Too Late To Stop Hiding
After baby arrived, I made the life-changing choice to build on my small foundation. I joined a gym and I tried many different classes and methods of “getting in shape” until I found a rhythm and method that has helped me find myself amidst all those layers. Now four kids later and in my thirties, I am no longer hiding under my clothes and sitting on the sidelines. I am energized, uncovered and unstoppable.
