Coach Val

Val is originally from a small town in Quebec and has enjoyed being in southern Alberta for the past ten years.

She has recently made High River home and she keeps busy chasing after her two boys and volunteering at their school.

After being active and involved in different sports throughout her teenage years, Val continued to pursue her passion in the world of fitness and sports by completing a degree in Kinesiology. She has worked with different fitness levels and ages including young teenagers, general population and high-level athletes.

Her experience in leading groups of athletes through warm-ups, drills, practices, and strength exercises have given her the knowledge and skills needed for her new adventure as coach and “head master” of the Daily WOD at The Hub.

Val’s main goal as a coach is to improve her client’s fitness level so they can enjoy a higher quality of life. 

Coach Val is also a member of the Olympic lifting team at The Hub. She is pursuing big goals and hopes one day to represent Canada in Masters competitions.

She likes playing volleyball, outdoor activities and watching sports. She is always ready for fun activities with friends and enjoys a good laugh. While knowing all the benefits of a healthy lifestyle, Val will have trouble refusing chips or gummies!
